Fall 2011 through Spring 2012 Class Schedule

For your convenience, this page lists all ADA classes currently scheduled for fall 2011 through spring 2012, by grade level.

Simply locate the grade level of the class you need, and information about the level as well as the class days, times, and tuition amounts appear. (Scroll down the page to find the appropriate level. Look for our adult tap class at the bottom of the table. Don't miss this opportunity!)

Parent & Tot Adult Classes
Movement enrichment for ages 2-4 and a caregiver. This is a great introduction to movement and includes interaction with you and your child. Parent & Tot is a non-performing class designed for in-class enrichment for the very young dancer.

Pre-Ballet Primary
A wonderful introduction to ballet with creative movement for 3-5 year olds, ready to dance without a caregiver or parent. This class nurtures balance, coordination, and motor skills; it introduces basic ballet movements and terms.

Mondays 4:30 - 5:15
Tuesdays 5:15 - 6:00
Saturdays 9:00 - 9:45

Primary builds on the foundation of the pre-ballet classes and includes an introduction to tap. As the ballet skills are developing, the dexterity and musicality of tap dancing helps instill rhythm and agility. Approximate ages are 5-7.

Grade I Grade II
Grade I builds on the skills learned in the primary class and includes more challenging combinations and new vocabulary in both ballet and tap. Approximate ages are 7-10.

In addition to the increased level of ballet technique and tap skills, Grade II dancers will have an introduction to contemporary dance. Learning modern dance skills emphasizes strength and flexibility of the spine and freedom of movement while maintaining control of the center. In addition, dancers discover their personal range of movement and explore composition and choreography through improvisation and creative exercises.

Dancers in Grade II are required to take a minimum of two classes per week. More than twice a week is encouraged for faster advancement. Approximate ages are 9-12.

Wednesdays 7:15 - 8:30 (ballet/modern)
Thursdays 4:45 - 6:00 (ballet/tap)
Saturdays 10:30 - 11:45 (ballet/tap)

Each additional class = $47/month
$179/month (Unlimited number of classes/week.)

The monthly rate takes into account two classes per week. The unlimited class fee is designed for the dancer who wishes to do more. With instructor permission, dancers may take a class above or below their assigned level.  Please visit with the faculty for more information.

   
Grade III Grade IV
Grade III dancers enjoy separate, focused ballet, tap, and modern dance classes.

Grade III dancers are required to take a minimum of two ballet classes per week.  Additional classes are encouraged. Approximate ages are 11-13.

Mondays 5:30 - 7:15 (ballet/modern)
Tuesdays 6:00 - 7:30 (ballet/tap)
Wednesdays 4:45 - 6:15 (ballet/modern)
Wednesdays 6:15 - 7:45 (conditioning)
Saturdays 9:45 - 11:15 (ballet/tap)

$122/month (Includes 2 classes/week.)
Each additional class = $50/month
$225/month (Unlimited number of classes/week.)

The monthly rate takes into account two classes per week. You also have the option of paying the $225/month rate to take an unlimited number of classes per week. The unlimited class fee is designed for the dancer who wishes to do more. With instructor permission, dancers may take a class above or below their assigned level.  Please visit with the faculty for more information.

Grade IV dancers enjoy separate, focused ballet, tap, and modern dance classes.

Grade IV dancers are required to take a minimum of two ballet classes per week.  Additional classes are encouraged.

If a Grade IV dancer wants to be considered for pointe work, two ballet classes per week are necessary to support technical skills. (This is not a guarantee of being placed on pointe, but it is necessary for consideration.)

Mondays 7:15 - 8:45 (ballet/modern)
Tuesdays 6:30 - 8:30 (ballet/tap)
Wednesdays 6:15 - 7:45 (conditioning)
Thursdays 6:30 - 8:00 (ballet/pointe)
Saturdays 11:45 - 1:15 (ballet/modern)

$230/month (Unlimited number of classes/week.)

The monthly rate takes into account two classes per week. You also have the option of paying the $230/month rate to take an unlimited number of classes per week. The unlimited class fee is designed for the dancer who wishes to do more. Grade V  
Grade V dancers enjoy separate, focused ballet, tap, and modern dance classes.

Grade V dancers are required to take a minimum of two ballet classes per week.  Additional classes are encouraged.

Mondays 7:15 - 9:00 (ballet)
Wednesdays 6:15 - 7:45 (conditioning)
Wednesdays 8:00 - 9:00 (pointe)
