Auditions for "Nutcracker Delights"

Location: Camelot Community Center, 9270 Cady
Ave.....($5.00 audition fee)
Saturday, August 28
1:00 - 1:45........Dancers
ages 5-8.
2:00 - 2:45........Pre-teen dancers
3:00 - 3:45........"Clara" roles.....Pre-teen
and older dancers are needed for the young Clara
and the grown-up Clara. Candidates should be
prepared to sing a Christmas carol, dance, and
read from the script.
4:00 - 4:45.......Intermediate/advanced dancers
(Dancers with pointe experience should bring
pointe shoes.)
Dancers,
actors, and singers are needed for this original
production. Now in its 4th season, "Nutcracker
Delights" was nominated for two Theater Arts
Guild awards in 2009.
Please
note: If you are cast and accept a role in
"Nutcracker Delights," you will be charged
participation fees and must be able to commit to
rehearsals and all performances.
Most
rehearsals are scheduled on Saturday afternoons,
but some are scheduled on Friday evenings. Most
rehearsals are held at the Camelot studios.
Performances are in December at the Bellevue
Little Theater. Auditions are open to the community, and all are
welcome.
"Nutcracker Delights" is produced by Ever After
Productions, Inc. in cooperation with Adair
Dance Academy, Inc.

Summer Dance Workshops for the Young Dancer
These dance workshops is for the young dancer
with little or no dance experience.

AM.........Tuition: $42 per each 4-week
session
- Pre-ballet for 3-5 year olds*
This level provides an introduction to dance
with ballet and creative movement exercises
that nurture balance, coordination, and
motor skills.
June 21 - July 30
Mondays and Wednesdays........5:00 - 6:00
PM.......Tuition: $50
- Primary/Grade I Ballet/Tap for 5-8 year
olds
This level introduces tap to the young
dancer which enhances dexterity and
musicality along with all the benefits of
ballet training.

Young Choreographers Workshop
Create! Produce! Perform!
This is your chance create your own dances,
learn about costuming, make-up, marketing, and
producing your own dance performance. This
workshop is designed for dancers pre-teen and
older, with prior dance experience and strong
technique. The final class will include a studio
performance for family and friends and a pot
luck dinner to celebrate your success! Don’t
miss it!

Student Placement Note:
Ages are
suggested age ranges. Adair Dance Academy
reserves the right to place students in the
appropriate levels. Schedule and faculty are
subject to change. Minimum enrollment required
for all classes and workshops.
Dance
Class Attire:
Pre-ballet students should wear any style of
leotard; bare feet or footless tights; hair
pulled back.
Primary students and older should wear any style
of leotard; pink tights; pink ballet slippers;
black tap shoes; hair pulled back.

Demo Classes and Open Houses
Join us for these
free classes! Observe your child in action,
visit with the instructor, tour the facility,
meet faculty, and enroll for fall classes.
